Paper details:Each group member will choose a policy related to the topic of the project and will complete a policy brief. Each student should submit a 2 page Policy Brief which explains your project and the recommendations for change that your group is
advocating for. (Policy H.R.5 – Equality Act)
A policy brief presents a concise summary of information that can help readers understand, and likely make decisions about, government policies. Policy briefs may give objective summaries of relevant research, suggest possible policy options, or go
even further and argue for particular courses of action (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, 2018). This Policy Brief should be prepared so that it can be sent to legislators or community members. Your professor will provide you with the template to write this brief within the first two weeks of the semester.
